Sweet baby girl number three!! She started off a bit camera shy but after a little nap, she was good to go. This session was in a beautiful park in Madrid, Spain.
Retiro Park in Madrid, Spain is beautiful but what makes it even more beautiful?? Having family photos taken there!
When visiting Madrid, hiring a family photographer is the perfect idea to remember everything you saw! You get see the beautiful city while having everyone in all of the photos!
Oh how I have missed you! I’ll be returning to Madrid February 1st and ready to photograph all of the beautiful families. It’s funny how we never know what our future will hold. I will definitely miss taking photos of nature down at our ranch but I’m also ready to tackle some new ideas!
Meet Christine! The new president of the British Ladies Association in Madrid!!
I don’t normally do wedding photoshoots unless it is for this beautiful couple! We started off at the registry office in Madrid and made our way to this cute little restaurant. Such a special day!
I love this beautiful moment between dad and daughter. This family will be able to have this memory of love forever.
This maternity photo shoot was an absolute dream!!! I had met Louise when volunteering at the dog shelter. She is an amazing dog trainer here in Madrid so if you have a dog who needs a little bit of help, she is your girl!
Here is her website if you would like more information!

One thing I love to capture during a milestone session are the details. The little feet, fingers, rolls cheeks… These are things that are so freaking adorable that they won’t have forever. So if you’re baby is sitting, let’s have a sitter photography session!
Seriously though, I can’t get over those rolls!
I love seeing these flowers alongside the roads in Spain and they will always remind me of my time as an expat here in Madrid!
You can really feel the love in this picture and it just makes my heart so happy. Newborn photography is such a special keepsake for everyone and I am so grateful to be able to capture it.
Capturing those special calm moments between siblings is always a priceless photo. It reminds you that it is not always chaos, that they can get along and they will forever be together and sisters.
The most beautiful people wear their hearts on their sleeves, and their souls in their smile. -mark anthony
This couple were just so beautiful together during their maternity photo shoot. So much love between them and it really shows.
The sun flare and the yoga pose pull this whole picture together. It’s amazing how when you look at this photo, you can feel the calmness.
This beautiful lady turned 30 and wanted portrait shots to celebrate! So I traveled to Toledo, Spain and made it happen! It was such a fun session because her house had a roof top terrace with an AMAZING view and we got to do a little sight seeing during it! Portrait photography is always something special to me because of all the amazing people I meet on the way.
I think Fresh 48 photography could be my new favorite thing!!!! Have you heard of them before? After you bring your baby into the world, I come to the hospital to capture that fresh new everything about your baby.
I was supposed to do this baby girl’s birth shoot but she had other plans! Birth photography can be such a powerful thing. It can go by so quickly and those feelings of empowerment and confidence are things you will never want to forget during this once in a lifetime moment!
This gorgeous landscape photo was taken in Franschhoek, South Africa! We had such a good time here and probably too much wine, if that’s even possible!
OK I know it says I am a family photographer BUT I also love to travel and my second favorite thing to take photos of are animals!! Obviously, humans are number one haha.
Five years ago, we were on a beach in Lombok, Indonesia and I was able to capture this same photo but from my iphone ( I also put a crappy filter on it ugh mistake). Fast forward 5 years, and were in the Philippines in the ocean swimming and I see the cows walking towards us. You could not imagine my excitement and me trying to run out of the water to grab my camera. One of the best memories from our travels.
Oh man I could not handle my excitement when I saw this sweet girl!!! Those pigtails, cheeks, eyes ah everything!! Her twin sister was the opposite of her but just as cute!!
Cake smashes are my favorite way to help families celebrate their babies turning one! Not only is it hilarious but it is fun for everyone (except the one cleaning up the mess..)!
This was my very first maternity photoshoot and I seriously loved every second of it. I knew right after this, that maternity photography was going to start becoming a major part of my photography career and I couldn’t be happier.
After we did a family photo shoot, we came back so she could feed baby. I am so thankful we did because I was able to catch this beautiful moment between mommy and baby.
Newborn photography is such an amazing experience for me and I am always so honored to be chosen to help capture it.
When this mom called me to do some head shots/ portraits of her awesome little girl, I was way too excited!
This kid is for sure going to be famous one day!!
First there were two, well thecnically three including the dog, and then there three :)
I love when parents ask if they can bring their fur babies to the photo shoots. Like um of course you can!!!
I have do quite a few of family shoots with these gorgeous three, now four. We have done mommy and daughter, maternity, family and now newborn. It always means so much to me that they chose me to be there family photographer.
I will not apologize for all these beautiful landscape flowery photos!!
When we were on vacation in Almeria, Spain, I decided to go on a walk along the beach by myself and that’s how this photo came alive.
This is my sister’s new puppy, Zinc!! Getting this photo was not easy to take AT ALL haha but it was so worth it.
This photo was taken out our ranch in the early morning :)
I have seen this beautiful grow up and have done all of her shoots :) I can’t wait for the many more memories I get to capture of her!
She’ll be turning one soon and her cake smash session is going to be the best!!
A wedding photo shoot by the sea of my best friends. An event I was so lucky and honored to be apart of. We shared so many laughs that day and it is a weekend I will never forget.
This photo was taken on an island in Greece. The house was so magical and the people were the best company I could ever ask for.
Are you worried your kid isn’t going want to smile or be apart of the family photo shoot??
Seriously, don’t worry, I got this.
I work with two and three year olds all day every day and have a thousand songs and dances to keep your kids smiling and laughing through out our entire session! Your kids are going to leave so happy and wanting to do another photoshoot!
This is a picture of Table Top Mountain from the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. It was such a beautiful place and I was able to find one of my favorite flowers here, the protea, which are here in this picture. We also climbed Table Top Mountain, and let me tell you, it was not easy but of course worth it!
If you plan on traveling to South Africa and have any questions, let me know, I’d love to help you out!
This is my beautiful best friend Heather! When I asked her if she would be interested in modeling for some portrait photography, I was so happy she said yes!!
First communion photo shoots really are something special! I’m really forward to doing more this year!
Turning one is such a huge milestone for babies and parents and I love capturing it for them. There are many ways to celebrate turning one and we had a blast! We sang, dance and hung out with mommy, success!
Babies grow up so quickly and it’s very important to have photos of them during this flash of a moment.
When your baby learns to sit by themselves, it is exciting but also terrifying! Where did the time go and your little babe?!
It is also a huge mile stone for them! I love to call these sessions sitter sessions and well I guess you get why right?
Milestone photography is wonderful for families. It involves maternity, newborn, sitter and turning one!
That special bond between sisters is something so strong. She’s your best friend, your blood, your other half.
Being a family photographer, you can always see these type of bonds that siblings have together.
When I’m not doing family photo shoots I love taking pictures of this beautiful lady! This chica here is such an inspiration. She’s an expat in Madrid and has an amazing blog about what to do in this city, how to stay positive and other amazing tips! I highly recommend giving it a look!
Check out her website at www.loefling.com
Who doesn’t want to eat cake and smash it up with your hands when it’s your birthday?!
Cake smashes are so much fun and such a cute memory to have!!
These beautiful cactus (cacti? haha) grow wild at our ranch just outside of Corpus Christi, Texas. My grandma and grandpa used to eat the prickly pear part on top back in the day. This photo resonates close to the heart because it will always make me think of them. That’s why photography is so important to me, photos can bring back so much emotion from the past and help you remember your loved ones that are no longer here.
This maternity photo shoot was a real adventure! We walked for ages out in the middle of nowhere and towards the end we couldn’t find our way out of the park! I honestly thought I was going to have to deliver her baby in the woods, now that would have been a good story!
This gorgeous couple messaged me because they were traveling back to Madrid and wanted to some photos of their favorite places together. Seriously, how sweet is that?! Our session was awesome together and there was just so much love in each photo!
If you’re thinking about traveling to Madrid, Spain and want some souvenirs to remember your time here, hit me up!
One of my favorite prompts during a family photo shoot is to tell mom and dad to both kiss baby’s face! The faces on everyone always turn out precious and so does the photo!
While travelling in the Philippines, we found this stretch of beach where we would eat vegan nachos that had jackfruit in it (tasted just like bbq, I was in heaven). Afterwards, we took a stroll down to end where we were alone and watched this beautiful sunset.
One thing I love about traveling is all the photos you get to take along the way. There are so many new and different sights to find and capture!
PS thats the boyfriend in the water :)
Oh man! This maternity/family photo shoot will always be in my top five! Dad had put his phone down in the grass and we moved about 3feet to the right to take this photo. When we went back for the phone, someone had picked it up!!! We started chasing down these kids that we thought had picked it up and of course when we asked them they said no. WELL! After our photo shoot they went home to see if they could locate it on their computer and sure enough they had thrown it in the bushes after we started going after them! They were able to get their phone back and these cute pictures!
What you see… A smiling happy baby with her Abu!
Well right after this she spit up all over him :)
This sweet girl’s Abu and Yaya ( grandmother and grandfather) came to Madrid to visit their baby granddaughter! I was asked if we could meet and take some grandparent photos and of course my answer was yes! It was a beautiful autumn day and the leaves were turning yellow and orange. I couldn’t have asked for a more amazing day!!
My first time visiting this BREATHTAKING park!! I had no idea you could get such sights like this in Madrid, Spain!! It was even better that I got to capture this mama and her baby!
If you are an expat with kids in Madrid, Spain then you HAVE TO check out Mammy in Madrid! She shares a lot of information on how to get through life in another country and it is very helpful!!

just looking at this photo relaxes me.
My hermann!!! A long time ago, I worked at a vet clinic :) This gorgeous kitty was adopted by a family and then found out he had light positive Feline Leukemia. They were going to put him down and uh yeah that was not going to happen, so I took him in. They told me that he would only live a year, well they were wrong! My sweet boy is still going strong after 9 years!
Take as many pictures of your pet as you can because they’re only here for a short amount of time.
Mommy with her twin girls!! These two were so cute and we had a blast during their family session. We sang, danced and played games, what more could you ask for during a photoshoot?!
I love love love small alleyways in old towns! This was a tiny street in Toledo, Spain right outside her front door. Also, this portrait photo shoot was because this chica turned 30! How awesome is that??!!
Birthday shoot time!! This family only wanted candid photos and I am all about that! Mommy came fully prepared as well! She brought toys, a bubble machine and music! It was so much fun and the photos came out so lovely!!
If your child is turning one, lets celebrate it! I’ll bring the fun and the camera, you bring the kid ;)
Have you heard of the Passion Test? Well I did it with this wonderful lady and it has helped me so much with figuring out what I want out of life and who I want to be. If you’re unsure about what path to take, this will help you out, I promise.

Those smiles are seriously contagious!!
When photographing couples, I am always trying to find creative ways to capture a moment and I especially love lines that lead you straight to the subjects.
Also, I mean just look at them!! I didn’t tell them to stand like this or anything, they’re just too perfect!
These kids were the coolest and most well behaved kids I have ever met! I was thrilled when their mom contacted me and wanted a family photo shoot!
When I got asked to do a first communion shoot, I could not say no! Growing up Catholic, I know how important this day is for the child and for the family.
First communion photo shoots are always a beautiful time. The dress, the suit and everything else brings these photos so much beauty.
You can only find something like this while traveling through Spain! Thankfully, I have a boyfriend who will pull the car over and let me shoot some landscapes! I just love everything about this photo and it will always remind me of our travels throughout Spain.
Taken in Almeria, Spain.
The funniest looking animal I have ever seen! I was so happy when I got this picture!! His horns remind me of a toupee and makes me giggle everytime!
I know this should all be about family photography but I love animals as well so I’ll be posting them too!!
Why yes, I just got up and searched through our Kruger National Park book to find out the name of these animals, they are water bucks! You’re welcome.
Ok these animals are super cute but I love the colors of the water here so much!!
How cute is this rhino’s booty?!
When we went to South Africa, I had no idea how much I would fall in love with animal photography. I mean I love animals but I never knew our safari trip would be the trip of my life!! We went to Kruger National Park, hired/rented (for all my British and American readers out there) and drove for hours everyday finding new animals!! Also, the huts we stayed in were soooooo cute!! If you get the chance to do a safari on your own, I highly recommend it. A couple times we also went with a guided safari, which was fun but driving on your own, is a whole different experience!
This kid!!! She was one of the first little girls to take photos of and she is just so photogenic!! She got rid of my first timer photographer jitters and we just hung out, played and took photos. I remember leaving our photo shoot thinking, god I love my job!!
Newborn photography is something I really have fallen in love with. I mean who wouldn’t want to spend their day taking photos and hanging out with babies?! Right now, I only offer newborn lifestyle sessions, where I come to your home and take photos where you are most comfortable. This is a wonderful type of session because you can really feel and see the connection between the parents and baby. At the moment, I am studying to do posed and props newborn photography, so I will be offering these in the future! If you are looking for a newborn photographer who does prop and poses, be sure they have studied and know the safety when posing newborns.
My favorite thing to capture in photos are baby’s little toes and feet!! They’re just so small and perfect.
Little details like this are everything!
I have watched this family go from ONE baby girl to THREE! It has been such an honor to capture this family grow and be there through it all!
Capturing those precious moments between mommy and their new beautiful baby is always important to me and my newborn photography.

This beautiful came all the way from New York! We got up early to beat the crowd and took some amazing photos together in Retiro Park at the Monument Alfonso Xll.
A wonderful day with a wonderful couple!!
We were in Retiro and found this beautiful spot! The light was perfect and we were surrounded by some beautiful flowers and long grass.
These two love birds make me so happy!! Such an honor to capture this beautiful day for them!!!
